Calla Thompson

Solid State, 2010

This work imagines a future anthropological survey of our current culture, with images of ice-encased debris --the result of a future glacial covering of North America.  Part of an ongoing series, they present the residue of our current social customs and behaviors, offering a cross-section of subsistence patterns, beliefs, as well as social groupings and interactions.
